I don't know what's wrong with these kids today!

You know what's worse than kids? Babies! To quote an old episode of Northern Exposure, "they're germs in footed pajamas that smell funny."
Your posted photo reminds me of the old V.C. Andrews book covers.
And to answer your (or Lee Adams') question, I think the problem with kids today is...parenting. No reflection on you, but just in general.
